Car Club visit. A very good carvery. Choice of Pork, Beef or Gammon. No Turkey sadly, it would be five stars if so. There was also Lamb Shank, Meat Pie, and Fish. Not sure if these constitute separate meals, or are included in the carvery!. The roast potatoes and new potatoes were cooked lovely, as was the carrots, peas and cabbage. Big Yorkshire Pudding too. Overall, very tasty. The staff were really polite and friendly. Hard working too. I can certainly recommend this pub. Probably have to book a table on weekends.

My first vegan carvery in 9 years!! The chef was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he put us together an amazing plate with vegan chicken, a vegan sausage and more!! He explained what he used to cook his veg so that we were reassured that it was vegan and he made us separate gravy. Overall him and his team were extremely patient, understanding and accommodating. The food was lovely, i cant wait for my next visit!

Came here for a Carvery last week. Absolutely fabulous! There were plenty of choices to choose from, from traditional meats (beef, pork and gammon) to steak pie, fish, chicken, sausages etc. Then lots of sides to go with it - it's certainly great value for money and even better knowing it's locally sourced! My daughter was also very well catered for and loved the food - so much so she wanted to go back the following night. My husband is Gluten Free and the carvery was great - he got his own Yorkshire Pudding and gravy brought out, then could enjoy all the other sides from the carvery. Only downside is the choice of gluten free desserts (ice cream or pavlova - neither of which he is bothered for). We would certainly return.
